    Description

100 Original ! Soviet School Medal 袘小小袪.
In the USSR, school medals were introduced by the resolution of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR No. 1247 dated May 30, 1945. The Council of People's Commissars of the USSR approved the "Regulations on gold and silver medals", which give the right to enter any universities in the country without entrance exams.
Gold and silver medals were made of 583 gold and 925 silver, respectively. The medal was a regular circle with a diameter of 32 mm and was stamped in 16 variants for each of the Union republics that existed at that time. The inscription "For excellent achievements and exemplary behavior" was also performed in the national languages of the Union republics.
The first change in the system of awarding the best students occurred in 1954 - the technical conditions for the production of gold medals changed, their sample was lowered to 375 (the amount of gold in the medal decreased). The silver medals remained unchanged.
In 1960, new samples of school medals were introduced "For excellent achievements in teaching, work and for exemplary behavior." The diameter of the medals has been increased to 40 mm,聽the material of manufacture has been changed to tompak for gold medals and nickel silver for silver. Precious metals in medals remained only in the form of spraying.
In 1968, the silver medal awards were discontinued. In 1977, a new Constitution of the USSR was adopted, followed by new Constitutions adopted by all republics of the Union. Some republics have had changes in their coats of arms, which was also reflected on the coat of arms of school medals. The most famous fact is that a small five-pointed star appeared in the upper part of the coat of arms of the RSFSR. In 1985, the Council of Ministers of the USSR, by a decree of August 6, rehabilitated the silver medal with a slight change - unlike the gold, the word "excellent" is absent on the medal. After the USSR ceased to exist, most newly formed states introduced their own school medals. There are three types of medals known in Russia, the transitional one of 1992 ("with a woman"), 1995 with a large coat of arms and 2007 with a large coat of arms and an enamel ribbon of the colors of the Russian flag.
