  • Condition: USED: Very Good Condition Overall; Very Smooth Rusty Top & Inside top too - Bail handle - & Globe seat parts-these were not tin coated parts. Good straight frame with high tin coating. Corning NoNex marked cast globe has a very bold strike & shows major casting swirls or straw marks, some scuffs & typical edge wear from age & use. No cracks.

    Description

    Offered is an Antique ~ Collectible ~  A.T.& S.F.RY. - Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad Lantern made by the Adams & Westlake Co. Chicago.  Stands 10-1/4" tall to top of dome & has 6" diameter base.  Bell Bottom nicely stamped for the A.T. & S.F.RY.  The Corning cast globe has a nice bold strike and no cracks & marked for Santa Fe.  Has casting marks, some scuffs, and typical edge wear from age and use.  The Fuel pot is stamped:  USE KEROSENE OIL ONLY - brass 1/2" thread in burner unmarked - has wick and works well fits well with burner shaft below the globe seat.  Everything turns, rotates, operates as it should.  These frames were typically marked By The Adams & Westlake Co. via the top stamped fuel pots.  I am not one to call rust - patina, but this one has great rust!  Call it what you want to.  Fresh out of Nevada where they produce some of the nicest rust in the country.  Offered "AS IS, AS SHOWN in photos, so please use a good zoom to view it better.  All the parts are in very good working order, and shows/ displays real nice.  Shipping well packed for transport and cost depends on your location.  Signature confirmation and insurance provided with the label, thanks for looking!
