Control your CarPC with Steering Wheel Controls.
CPJexr
converts
steering wheel controls
into
USB keyboard
and
HID remote controller
.
You can control MediaPlayer, Winamp or front-end(ex. CentraFuse) with your steering wheel controls.
(2 pieces of Heat shrinkable tube is included, shrink it with hair dryer after installation.)
Hardware feature
- Converts resistive steering wheel remote controls into USB HID keyboard
and HID remote controller.
- Works same as standard USB HID keyboard and HID remote controller by hardware.
- 24V tolerant 4 channel resistive(voltage) input.
- Supports 28 physical buttons, 52 programmable logical buttons.
- Long and Short button for one physical button, up to 5 simultaneous key strokes by one button.
- 2 programmable LED port.
- Remote wake-up(resume PC from sleep with steering wheel remote controls).
- Channel Master/Slave selectable
- Temperature range : -40 ~ +85°C

- Preset switch by Preset up and down buttons.
- Speech and OSD when preset is switched, when button is pressed.
- Application link(application launches and pops up with preset switching).
- User definable Button Speech and OSD.

(Manager supports Windows XP and the later version.
Manager does not support Linux, Mac. But CPJexr  works on Linux and Mac after it is configured at Windows.
Manager does not support Android devices. But CPJexr works on Android devices from Android version 3.1 after it is configured at  Windows. For example, Google Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy note and Galaxy  tab 10.1. )
App Link enables to launch application with steering wheel remote control's button and switch application when preset is switched.
Connect two wires of CPJexr’s input channel to the remote controls, and connect USB.
This is the typical resistance-output steering wheel remote controller's circuit.
You can put additional buttons like green box below by DIY, if you want.
You can control two external LED.
You can use typical USB cam as a rearview camera with CPJexr.
Any USB camera or video capture device can be rearview camera.
Rearview pops up when Channel C detects reversing light.
Jex Cam appears when reversing light is detected.
Any video capture device can be rearview camera.
Horizontal and Vertical Mirror is supported.
You can control Android device with steering wheel controls by  CPJexr.
Android 3.1 or later version is required to use CPJexr in Android.

If your steering wheel control is not resistive,
you need Steering Wheel Stalk Adaptor (for Sony Radio) that converts non-resistive signal into resistive signal.
Connect its output signal to CPJexr.
Resistive Buttons PCB is included.
You can test CPJexr with it before installation.
USB A-mini B 1.2m cable is included.
Software CD-ROM is not included.
