The embroidery is very old, I think the 1950s or earlier.

Overall size 15 inches (38 cm) by 13 inches (33 cm). Embroidery - 13.8 inches (35 cm) by 9.8 inches (25 cm).
The artist made a mistake and the Hammer and Sickle on the Star was embroidered upside down.
It was impossible to show such embroidery, they could be punished for it.
Kept in a chest of drawers, so such a good preservation.
