Fire-Safe is a clear fireproofing spray for use on Hay or Straw. This product is uniquely formulated to resist flame by creating a self-extinguishing barricade that forces fire to burn out before it starts. When properly applied to Hay or Straw, Fire-Safe flame retardant meets NFPA 701 and CA Title 19 Approval No. C-21302. Fire-Safe is fully registered and approved by the CA State Fire Marshal as an interior flameproofing product.
Suitable for application on hay and straw
Coverage is up to 200 sq. ft./gallon or 1/4 gal. to 3/4 gal. per hay bale, depending on size of bale
Dries clear and invisible
Treated items last for 3-5 years as long as they're kept clean, free from water, dirt, and grime
