Description
The Greenlee PRX-500 (52068916) PRX Proximity Voltage Detector Kit with Hard Carrying Case, Holster and 115-240V Charger, 120V to 500kV AC, detects voltage at a distance from live unshielded conductors on overhead and underground power distribution systems. When voltage is detected, the PRX-500 produces an audible and visual indication. The versatile, lightweight, rugged design enables linemen to easily manipulate the PRX Proximity Voltage Detector safely in the harshest of conditions.
The PRX-500 model is an ideal solution for line crews that perform voltage testing on both distribution and transmission lines, being preset with nine standard voltage ranges from 120VAC to 500kVAC. A capacitive test point mode is included in the 120VAC setting; this setting detects elbow test point voltages on underground distribution systems.
The PRX-500 Kit includes a holster, charging cord, 115-240VAC wall charger, and a hard carrying case.
