What is needle felting?
:  the art of using a special barbed needle to pierce sheep's wool, which sculpts  a piece of art. After repeated needle sticks, (too many to count) the wool will knit together and allow the artist to transform it into the desired ornament/ figure. The process takes several hours or days, depending on the item.
