Very Large Vladimir Lenin Original Antique Oil Painting on Canvas measuring 59 x 47 Inches
This painting depicts Lenin giving a speech in front of an elite military crowd.  There are paintings of him and Karl Marx on the wall and Russian writing above the door.
This painting is not signed, but shows evidence of professionalism.  The canvas will be shipped rolled in a tube.
This painting Is in fair condition for its age, having been stored in a tube for many years.  There is some intermittent flaking of paint, and the reverse of the canvas shows obvious evidence of age and browning of canvas.  This painting at one time was also framed, so has blank canvas at some edges, and the extreme left edge has 2 1/2 inches of rubbing of paint

.  It looks to have had something rested on the lower portion of the painting that has removed some of the surface of the paint, but the color is still there. Under the arm of the gold chair, and along the backs of some of the spectators there is some rubbing off of paint.  Please see photos for details.  Refinishing the painting would help tremendously, but not really required.  The frame has been absent from the painting for many years.
