    Description

    This item is Ashigaru's Jingasa from the Edo period.
    Ashigaru means infantry soldiers in the Edo period, but they were servants who served their masters when there was no war.
    Most of Jingasa are made of lacquered wood, however, this item is made by Japanese paper.
    This item is preservative coated with persimmon astringency.Some letters are written lightly on the back side.This type of Jingasa is rare and valuable.
