Description
Lot of 12 Vintage Russian USSR Military Hat and Soviet Era Pins some gold plated. I enlisted the aid of a Russian speaking gentleman to translate some of the medals. The Red enamel with star is a WW2 medal that translates to "Defend Moscow". The Green Lenin pin translates to " Working Class". The large pin with the church is from the St. Sophia Church in Kiev but is Ukrainian I am told. The blue pin with church says "Leningrad" which is modern day St. Petersburg. The small round gold pin I believe is a WW2 pin that states "Moscow City Hero". There is a pin with a church that says Novograd ( an ancient city in Russia) The square pin with the red banner states May 9th which is the victory day for Russia. One or 2 may be Ukraine. I am not an expert on military pins, but hoping the pictures will be recognizable to those that do. I acid tested half the pieces with 10K acid. I believe they are gold plated but some seem to be marked. Please view all photos for best description. No International Shipping. Thanks for looking!
