  • Condition: The lantern frame is in excellent condition; clean smooth metal, stands straight, has no extra holes drilled, major dents, bent, broken or missing parts. The frame has a last patent date of 1913, which is embossed on the base. It comes with a correct Armspear large twist off fount and brass P&A (Plum & Atwood) burner, which takes a 7/8” flat wick. The fount and burner are in working order and would hold fuel and burn if desired. The burner easily moves the wick when the adjuster is turned. The Clear Lantern Globe is in excellent condition; free of damage such as chips, cracks, scratches, or cloudiness. The globe is cast “L&NRR” in an oval panel along with the “CNX” Corning Glass Co. Trademark and “MADE IN USA” on the opposite side. As with any globe that was used in railroad service, there may some minor nicks on the rims which will not show when the globe is seated in a lantern frame.
