This unit was originally owned by Ralph Lauren Apparel. The NC facility closed shortly after this machine and other equipment were purchased. The company decided to donate this piece of equipment to a local university's textile R&D lab. They used it for a while, but really needed a smaller unit for small scale lab purposes. The machine was put on auction and we bought it.
Originally purchased as a pre-coater for materials prior to digital inkjet printing on materials. Also can be used as a top coater after printing is complete. Lots of various uses for this machine in the coating of various textiles. Awaiting further specs and details from the manufacturer. Mtex is based in Portugal.
