Sometimes nature has a way of taking control of creativity.  Sorting through a new shipment of cedar I was awestruck immediately when this piece of lumber emerged from the stack.  It in many ways reminded me of when I met my wife 20+ years ago.  It also had a natural beauty that commanded 100% attention upon first glance and I had to have it. The natural lines and red/golden hues are truly one of a kind!
Named after the hit album by the Fixx, "Reach the Beach" is also something that we are all dying to be able to do again.
This board is constructed of red cedar over a wooden fish bone core and reinforced  with 4 oz fiberglass/epoxy. Topped with UV marine varnish for added protection. Comes with industry standard Fins Unlimited 10.5 inch universal fin box, touring fin, coiled leash, double gortex vents, four tie down anchors, and balanced handle for easy transport.  The 50/50 rail and finished weight of only 36 lbs is the perfect combination for a touring board that still has potential to have a blast in small surf. Overall length of 11' 2" with a width of 30 inches.
