Here's a really nice example of an
early
Dietz Vesta brakeman's lantern from the New York, Ontario & Western Railroad (Railway) - NYO&W. Manufactured by Dietz at their Syracuse, New York plant in April, 1930. Clear, unmarked Corning Nonex Vesta globe. Correct smooth-side fount with burner, which appears to be solid with no pin holes. Wick raiser turns easily. A really nice example of a well-used lantern from the "Old Woman." Seen others that have come up on eBay and missed out? Now's your chance.
