The picture is drawn from a photo made for newspapers to refute rumors about Lenin's disease.
The photo was made especially for newspapers - there was a rumor that Ilyich was sick, the information had to be quickly refuted. In addition to adults in the frame, two children - a girl and a boy.
The girl, the janitor's daughter from Manezh Verochka Brusova, folded her hands on her knees and visually separated from the Ulyanovs.
She was taken into the picture only because Verochka was called by the boy with whom they were playing. The boy looks into the lens confidently, an open smile, Krupskaya embraced him, Ulyanov gently holds her hand.
