ORIGINAL VINTAGE COLD WAR RUSSIAN SOVIET PROPOGANDA POSTER PORTFOLIO: "BY THE FIRE OF SATIRE." COMPLETE 20 POSTER COLLECTION WITH COVER. PUBLISHED IN 1963, MOSCOW. LIMITED PRINT RUN OF 17,000. RARE.
POSTERS DEAL WITH CORRUPTION, WASTE, INEFFICIENCY AND ABUSE OF POWER. THEY ARE ALL IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. They are 14 x 20 inches each with description in Russian (see photos posted).
Research has provided very little on
these
20 posters as to value and rarity, although the limited production points to distribution rarity. I have not seen any single or multiple posters offered for sale during the time I have had them. I did learn that the Art Museum at the University of Memphis has a partial set of these posters and contacted them, but received no reply. I also contacted a large international poster selling concern and also received no reply. Therefore, I am listing these basically in the dark.
I do not want to break the collection up and offer individually as I think these are rare and should be kept intact. I believe they are worth more than I am asking however, offers will be considered. Any additional info you may have to share on these posters will be appreciated.

I have been selling on Ebay over twenty years and have a very good rating and excellent feedback. Photos shown are of the item you will receive. I need new glasses, so my pics may be a bit fuzzy and any glare is from my obsolete camera.
