Pobeda KGB Factory in Moskow manufacture, unmarked version, circa mid to late
1960 - 1980 s.
O
utstanding for the early version. The red enamel is essentially perfect and shows beautiful luster. The white enamel has tiny internal hairline fractures, but they are practically invisible to the naked eye and are not affecting the integrity of the enamel. The original gilt finish on the obverse is beautifully preserved and bright. The screw post is full length and includes original early screw plate maker marked "Pobeda Factory, Moscow".  Guard's Badge, Have Brass Metal and Soviet Old Russia Tradition Too Color Enamel. Guardia were again awarded to units and formations which distinguishing they in during the Second World War by the order of People's Commissar for Defense and were considered to have

On May 21, 1942,
the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR introduced Guards ranks and Guards badges to be worn of the right side of the chest. In June 1943, they introduced the Guards Red Banners for the land forces, and in February 1944 for the naval forces.
