    Description

    This press is designed
    for the repair and production of sneakers, shoes and boots with cupped sole from 6 to 16 men's sizes. When it is used for sneakers, its diaphragm simultaneously presses the sole from bottom, as well as the part which surrounds top of the sneakers.
    When the press is used for shoes or boots, it presses the sole against the top of the shoe. The pressing force is adjustable and can be up to 15 pounds per square inch.
    The press сonsists
    from the base, the air unit and the rack with a movable prop on it. On the base are located (from left to right): a pressure gauge showing the air pressure at the input of the press; pressure regulator in air unit; a gauge which shows in the air unit either a vacuum or a pressure in the air unit; 3-position switch, providing in the air unit either or vacuum or pressure. On the side wall there is a
    connector for connection hose from the compressor.
    The use of the press
    is very simple and consists in the following.
    For pressing the surfaces to be bonded when the sole covers part of the top of the shoe (as in the case of sneakers):
    - connect the hose from the compressor to the press
    - making sure that the press receives air pressure (the left-hand manometer should show from 5 to 7 atmospheres), and to set the switch to the right position, "vacuum";
    - when the diaphragm of the air chamber takes up the most concave position, move the switch handle to the middle position "off"
    - to shoe top, prepared for gluing, and dressed on the last,
    attach a sole prepared for gluing;
    - put the workpiece in the cavity of the air chamber and to push on it
    two ends of movable prop to, and the pin to insert into hole of the last;
    - to set the switch in the "pressure" position;
    - after the desired time of gluing, to put switch in the "vacuum" position and when the glued shoe will in the free position, can to retrieve it from the press.
    Pressing of the surfaces to be bonded when the sole is flat, it is produced in a manner similar to the one described above with the only difference, that before installation workpiece in the press, diaphragm of the air chamber is placed not in the "maximally concave" position, but approximately in the middle position.
    As for the price, it is the lowest possible, since the press is produced in the USA. The production of one press by a qualified locksmith takes about 10 days using workshop equipment. In addition, the cost of parts and materials is around $ 180
