    Description

    The sign "50 years of stay in the CPSU"
    is the badge with which members of the Communist Party of the USSR were noted. It was established on October 22, 1981 by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union . A sign was given to those party members whose experience in the party was 50 years or more.
    The sign is made of
    silver
    and gilded,
    weight 4 grams
    , size 15 × 17 millimeters. It has a rounded shape; in the center there is a medallion with the number “50”, covered with gray enamel; the medallion is framed by a wreath of wheat ears. Below is a star covered with red enamel. In the upper and right part there is a waving banner with the inscription "CPSU", also covered with enamel.
    On the reverse side of the sign is a hairpin for attaching to clothes, at the bottom there is a hallmark of the Moscow Mint in the form of a monogram.
