Kaholo stand-up paddle boards , with their uncanny speed, the 12'-6" and the 14' have found a following among racers. The 14' is better for larger paddlers ( or those who might carry along dogs or small kids) . The 12'-6" is more compact, better for smaller statured paddlers, both fit in several increasingly popular racing classes. With a grid of bulkheads and stringers inside to make the board stiff and light and colorful fabrics beneath the fiberglass, with that rare quality of being fast enough to race, but stable enough for first timers. This 2016 Kaholo stand-up paddle board named Cuatro is for sale by the builder. This 12'6" SUP is a beautiful, hollow, wooden glassed and finished to shine and is truly a work of art. We have been riding all sorts of commercial boards that we keep in stock for rentals and SUP lessons and always prefer riding the Kaholos. Down winding on a Kaholo is second to none. In a flat water race the tracking is better than any we have ridden. Load this board up with any gear you want or need; from a picnic lunch to a fishing trip, you can even pack for camping and take it out for days at a time. All around it's fast and light, weighing in at 28 pounds depending on the extra hardware available to rig the deck. Scratches and nicks "No worries" because this board can easily be refinished and ridden for a lifetime!
