Inscription : "1917 - 1967", "All power to Soviets!", "50 years of the Great October", "SChZ, Mayak".

in 1967 of pressed steel
on the wood base by SChZ "Mayak" Serdobsky Watch Factory. H=11 1/4" (28.5 cm), Clock face dimensions : 8 3/4" x 6 1/4"(22.5 x 16 cm).

orking mechanism. Good condition, the clock face has small rust stains  - see photo for all details.
On October 25th 1917 a blank shot from 'Aurora' forecastle gun signalled the start of the assault on the Winter Palace, which was to be the last episode of the October Revolution. This Clock were made in 1967 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Great October Revolution.
I am selling this item from Ukraine now, the post is working a little slow, but as usual dependable. I was born in the USSR and I was 26 years old when Ukraine became independent in 1991 in accordance with Article 3 of Treaty on the Creation of the USSR (1922, December 30). I know very well the difference between living in a totalitarian country and living in a free one. These items are historical memorabilia, just to remember this time, so that totalitarian regime doesn't happen again in the future. I believe that Ukraine has the right to exist as a free and independent nation and I am participating in charity projects in Ukraine now.
