Vintage COMPAQ T-SC3 T-SC3-6MD Laptop Mouse Mechanical Vertical Trackball Mouse. Cosmetically the mouse is in good condition and the trackball works, but the left & right buttons double click and the middle button is super spongy. You really need to press it in deep it make it work.
It's a neat vintage computer
tchotchke, in that Compaq designed a vertical mechanical trackball mouse. Just as interesting is that it has 3 small bearings on the inside of the locking ring. I have never encountered that on any trackball mouse design, and the only time I come across tiny bearings is on optical trackball. Compaq was thinking outside the box and being creative, it's a cool conversation piece, but I would not recommend trying to actually use it in its current state, unless you want to refurbish it.
