I had the pleasure, or lack there of, of visiting the USSR in the early 1980's.... before it changed from communism to whatever it considers itself  to be today.
Back then, you had to enter as a group through the USSR organization "Intourist" which probably was run by the KGB!
One postcard shows the wonderful Kosmos Hotel in Moscow... as i remember each floor had a woman on it who you could ask for a few sheets of bad toilet paper if needed.
The second postcard is of the State Lenin Library.
Going through the items I have collected, I came across several postcards I brought back from my multiple journeys.
I will be listing several postcards separately, USSR, West Germany... and many WWI ones from France... etc.. so feel free to check out my other listings.
