VTG 16 US EAGLE SEAL ANCHOR MILITARY BUTTONS HORSTMAN WATERBURY MEYER SUPERIOR L

Description

Lot/set of 16 vintage metal buttons.  Gold tone or brass colored.  Nine have  identical pictures on front, the US seal.  Of the 9, five are stamped
Horstmann Philadelphia (2) /Philada. (3),  two are stamped Waterbury Button Co., one is stamped Superior Quality, and one is stamped N.S. Meyer
New York.  They all measure approximately 5/8" across in diameter.  The Horstmann have a sightly different texture behind the seal.   3 of the
buttons have no markings on the back.  Of those, two have a picture of a large Anchor (Navy ?) and one has an Eagle standing on an
anchor.  These 3 are also 5/8".  The last four buttons are a little larger and measure approximately 7/8" across.   Three are identical and have the
picture of an Eagle standing on an Anchor.  The last has the same picture but it is more raised and the picture has more definition. Please look at
