    Description

    (Internal #G371-207)
You are bidding on a one, 1-7/8" long genuine, natural gator tooth.  Measured over the curve of the tooth from tip of tooth to top.
Make your own jewelry or Crocodile Dundee hat, or just as a collector.  A great gift to the gator lover or to yourself!
You get exactly what you see in the picture. There are no cracks. The holes or "U" cut-outs you see are the natural formations of the teeth; measured over the curve of the tooth with a flexible tape measure.
Gators are controlled by government issued permits in Louisiana. The hides are sold for leather products, the meat is eaten locally or prepared as jerky, the guts go into the cat and dog food industry ("animal byproducts") and the heads and feet (freeze dried and coated in polyurethane) and teeth are sold to commercial stores so 100% of the animal is recycled. Gators have three sets of teeth, one inside the other (like Tupperware) that's why they're hollow; teeth are shed periodically.
