This 8" penny rug is so cute . . .a fun little home spun mat with adorable little "sugar pumpkins" . . .it is perfect for the fall. . .space in the center is best for a votive or small jar candle display . . .makes a thoughtful hostess gift paired with a little glass jar of autumn treats. . .perhaps those little candy sugar pumpkins. . .the center is a nice pumpkin spice homespun that I have hand appliqued to an ivory felted wool felt background . . .color is called "fresh linen" . . .this sits on a gorgeous green felted wool felt and center is backed with this green . . .this mat is done in the old fashioned style of "penny coins" . . .and, I have hand stitched ten double layered "coins" to the center . . .each is topped with a fresh linen colored felted wool felt "coin" and then the little copper kettle felted wool felt sugar pumpkin. . .I have done a hand stitched leaf and tiny little vine at the tan felted wool felt stem . . .beautiful quality handmade item . . .my own design and done entirely by hand by me. . .please see my excellent feedback for penny rugs and quilts - many wonderful and LOVED repeat buyers who keep me stitching  PLEASE NOTE:  the candle display in one of my picture is NOT included and listing is for penny rug only
